Katie Banks and Jane Adam are friends
and colleagues who have developed the 6-week Time to Change
Programme drawing on their experience from their own lives
and their work with clients.
They demonstrate how women can
juggle successful businesses with a good home life, and
still have time for study, personal development and family.
Jane Adam
Jane Adam originally qualified as a personal trainer
and NLP practitioner before going on to train in counselling
and psychotherapy. Her work as a personal trainer helped
her identify that there were psychological barriers holding
her exercise clients back from achieving their goals.
She has a huge zest for life, which she puts down to an
overall balance in her life, including exercise and a healthy
diet. Now with Katie she has made a business out of helping
others discover how to do the same.
Katie Banks
Katie Banks originally studied law at university, followed
by several years in personnel with the civil service. She
then worked as a tour guide in the south of France before
running a guesthouse in the Borders and starting her family.
She shares Jane's love of exercise and enjoyment of a full
and vital life. She met Jane while training in counselling
and psychotherapy and found they shared a common vision
of how they could help people on the road to achieving healthier
and happier lives through their Time to Change Programme.
Therapy
As well as running the Time to Change programme together
on a regular basis in and around Edinburgh, both Jane and
Katie run their counselling and psychotherapy practices
offering one to one and group therapy covering both Edinburgh
and East Lothian. For more information about their work
